We get information about the world from a variety of imperfect sources: the sensory experience of hearing a muffled voice, memories that feel like dreams, or testimony from our peers.
At the Centre for Developing Minds, we study how people make sense of this confusing information! What are the tools our minds use to sort through conflicting opinions? We focus a lot of our research on children to learn which tools we acquire early in life and which tools are built over time.
